Hyun Bin has been confirmed to appear in the new drama "Memories of the Alhambra."

The drama "Memories of the Alhambra" tells the story of a man, the CEO of an investment company, who goes to Granada, Spain for business and gets involved in strange incidents after staying at a cheap hostel run by a woman who was once a guitarist. The drama is a collaboration between screenwriter Song Jae-jung, known for "W" and "Nine: Nine Time Travels," and director Ahn Gil-ho of "Stranger," and is scheduled to begin airing in the second half of this year. Hyun Bin will play the role of Yoo Jin-woo, the CEO of an investment company with a sharp intuition, who is also an engineering Ph.D. holder.

The production team explained their reason for casting Hyun Bin, stating, "Hyun Bin is an actor who possesses both cold masculine charm and warm humanity, making him the perfect fit for the role of Yoo Jin-woo, who must portray both action and melodrama simultaneously."
