Actors Ji Chang-wook and Kang Ha-neul participated in auditions for a musical produced by the Ministry of National Defense of South Korea.

A representative from SHOW NOTE, a co-producer of the musical "Shinheung Military Academy," told a media outlet today (17th), "The Ministry of National Defense sent an official document stating they would hold auditions for general soldiers. Applicants auditioned today, and it is still in progress." They added, "Ji Chang-wook and Kang Ha-neul only auditioned; they have not been cast yet."

The representative explained, "We have not received information about other individuals who auditioned besides the two. No casting announcements have been made yet."

"Shinheung Military Academy" will be performed a total of 20 times in September at the theater "YONG" within the National Museum of Korea in Seoul.
