BTS, EXO, TWICE, and Red Velvet have been simultaneously nominated in two categories, Digital Song and Physical Album, at the 33rd Golden Disc Awards.

The official website for the 33rd Golden Disc Awards, to be held on January 5th and 6th of next year at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, was released at 10 AM on the 7th, with nominees announced by category.
There are 30 nominees each for the Digital Song and Physical Album categories, and 10 nominees for the Rookie Award.
Who will take home this year's Daesang (Grand Prize)?

Among the nominees for this year's Golden Disc Awards, the four groups BTS, EXO, TWICE, and Red Velvet are drawing particular attention.
These four groups have been nominated in both the Digital Song and Physical Album categories.
The judging for the main award will consider the representative song or album that achieved the highest sales for each category, if an artist has multiple released songs or albums.
The Digital Song category will judge albums containing 6 or more new songs, excluding intro, outro, instrumental tracks, and different versions of songs included in the same album.
The fact that BTS, EXO, TWICE, and Red Velvet have submitted nominations for both the Digital Song and Physical Album categories is proof of their strong album sales and high listenership of their digital music throughout the year.

At the previous 32nd Golden Disc Awards, BTS and TWICE won double awards in the Digital Song and Physical Album categories.
