BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) walked the red carpet at the "Grammy Awards," America's most prestigious popular music awards ceremony, becoming the first K-pop singers to do so. 
BTS appeared on the red carpet at the 61st Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, USA on the 10th (local time).
The seven members of BTS, dressed impeccably in tuxedos, greeted the red carpet MCs with a relaxed demeanor. Leader RM said, "I'm surprised. Coming to the Grammy Awards was a dream, and it has come true." He added, "I was excited to see so many famous musicians." When asked about the schedule for their new album, the members said "soon" and that they are working on songs in various styles, including collaborations and solo tracks. BTS was the first Korean singers to appear at the Grammy Awards ceremony on this day. It is one of America's top three music awards ceremonies, along with the Billboard Music Awards and the American Music Awards. BTS has received the TOP SOCIAL ARTIST award for two consecutive years at the Billboard Music Awards in the past two years and last year, and received the Favorite Social Artist award at the American Music Awards last year.
