Global superstars BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) will make a comeback on the 12th of next month with their new album, "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA."

Big Hit Entertainment announced this on the 12th through BTS's official fan cafe. 

This marks their comeback 8 months after the release of "LOVE YOURSELF 結 ‘Answer’" last August. 

"MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" is a new story that follows BTS's "LOVE YOURSELF" series, which they have presented for the past 2 years and 6 months.

Last year, BTS achieved two consecutive No. 1s on the US Billboard main album chart, "Billboard 200," with their "LOVE YOURSELF" series albums, a first for a Korean artist.

 Additionally, with the title track "FAKE LOVE" from "LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear'," they became the first Korean group to enter the TOP 10 of the Billboard "HOT100."

Through the "LOVE YOURSELF" tour, BTS became the first Korean artist to hold a stadium concert at the US's Citi Field in New York.

 Starting May 4th, they will hold the "LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF" stadium tour in 8 regions, including Los Angeles, Chicago, and New Jersey in the US, followed by São Paulo in Brazil, London in the UK,

Osaka and Shizuoka in Japan.

Their future activities and influence are increasingly worth watching.
