Girl group BLACKPINK will resume domestic activities with a new song soon.
A representative from BLACKPINK's agency, YG Entertainment, told Star News on the 18th, 'BLACKPINK plans to film a music video for a new song in the middle of this week.' They added, 'The release date for the new song cannot be announced yet.' In addition to these domestic activities, BLACKPINK is scheduled to perform at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in April and then embark on their first North American tour across six cities. Yang Hyun-suk, the representative producer of YG Entertainment, had previously announced through an entrance that BLACKPINK's activities would involve a comeback with an EP album featuring numerous new songs. This marks BLACKPINK's return to new song activities after 9 months since releasing 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' in 2018.
