According to multiple music industry officials, D.O. will enlist as an active-duty soldier on July 1st.

 Born in 1993, D.O. still has time left before the deadline for military enlistment.

 Under the current military service law, one can apply for up to five postponements (delay, deferral) until the age of 28, meaning D.O. could enlist by 2021.

However, with EXO members starting to enlist, beginning with Xiumin, D.O. himself has expressed his intention to fulfill his military duty as soon as possible.

After discussions with his agency SM Entertainment and EXO members, D.O. decided to enlist as an active-duty soldier and recently applied to the military.

He has confirmed his enlistment for July 1st, becoming the second EXO member to enlist as an active-duty soldier after Xiumin.
