Jinyoung, formerly of B1A4, will be enlisting.

His agency stated, "Jinyoung received his military service notice from the Military Manpower Administration on the 5th," and "He will be enlisting at an Army training center on June 20th."

Jinyoung is scheduled to serve as a social worker after completing basic military training at the training center. Jinyoung sustained injuries during past film and drama filming and performance activities,

resulting in a torn right shoulder joint and a Grade 4 physical examination result. The diagnoses include a torn rotator cuff and superior labrum anterior posterior (SLAP) tear.

According to his agency, Jinyoung had been receiving long-term treatment through non-surgical methods such as physical rehabilitation and injections instead of surgery, but his condition did not improve.

Consequently, medical staff determined that surgery was unavoidable, and he underwent surgery and is currently continuing rehabilitation treatment, the agency revealed.

The agency conveyed Jinyoung's intention to "faithfully fulfill his given duty," and due to the artist's wish for a quiet enlistment, the exact location and time will not be disclosed.
