Jinyoung is scheduled to enlist in an army training center on the 20th, complete basic military training, and then serve as an alternative service member.

Previously, when enlistment reports emerged in June, Jinyoung strongly denied them. However, one month after the June enlistment reports,

he reversed his statement, announcing that he would be serving as a social worker, not active duty.

Jinyoung's agency stated regarding the reason for alternative service, "Due to injuries sustained during past movie and drama filming and performance activities, his right shoulder joint was ruptured,

and he received a Grade 4 physical examination result."

Jinyoung opted for physical rehabilitation and injections instead of surgery, but as his condition did not improve, he underwent surgery before his enlistment.

Jinyoung shared via his fan cafe on this day, "I will be leaving your side for a while.

I received my enlistment order a little while ago and will be enlisting soon. I know many of you are surprised and worried. However,

I wanted to be the first to deliver the news directly to my fans." He added, "I wanted to show you a better side of myself before enlisting, but

my health did not permit it, which was very regrettable. I felt very disappointed and sorry every time I heard about those who were waiting for my activities."

Meanwhile, Jinyoung was the first member of B1A4 to leave the agency upon the expiration of his contract and depart from the team.

He subsequently signed an exclusive contract with the new entertainment company Link8 Entertainment and is currently active solely as an actor.

Currently, B1A4 is being led by the three members: Sandeul, Shinwoo, and Gongchan.

Jinyoung had previously stated in an interview for the movie 'My Extraordinary Roommate' that "the possibility of full group activities is open,"

but no specific discussions have taken place yet.
