Girl group GFRIEND will appear in a British BBC documentary.

Their agency Source Music stated on the 16th, "GFRIEND recently had an interview with the UK's BBC.

We received a request from the BBC regarding the production of a K-pop special documentary, and GFRIEND

responded to the interview as a representative Korean girl group. The broadcast will be aired worldwide through BBC 4 in September."

This special documentary is a project prepared to directly experience the high popularity of K-pop in Europe within Korea, the country of origin, and

to further understand K-pop culture, especially through music broadcasts that have received domestic and international acclaim for their outstanding systems.

The BBC production team will visit Korea to focus on and report on K-pop singers who are creating a global phenomenon,

and the K-pop industry and systems that discovered and nurtured them.

As a representative K-pop singer of Korea, GFRIEND earnestly answered questions about the strengths of Korean music broadcasts and their usual practice methods.

GFRIEND recently achieved a music show grand slam with their new song "FEVER," proving their true popularity.

Starting on the 20th, they are intensifying their global fan expansion through their second Asia tour "GO GO GFRIEND!"
