TVXQ's Changmin has donated 50 million won to help children from multicultural families.

Child advocacy organization Green Umbrella Children's Foundation (Chairman Lee Jae-hoon) announced on the 30th that Changmin donated 50 million won to help children from multicultural families in Korea.

The donation from Changmin will be used to support the learning expenses of 50 children from multicultural families through the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation.

Changmin said, "I wanted to give a meaningful gift to children from multicultural families," and explained the reason for his donation, saying, "It would be great if children could have educational opportunities regardless of their economic and social conditions and further expand their dreams.".

Green Umbrella Children's Foundation Chairman Lee Jae-hoon said, "I express my gratitude to donor Changmin, who has consistently practiced sharing without forgetting the children marginalized in our society," and added, "We will use the donated funds carefully to help children from multicultural families grow into healthy members of society.".

Meanwhile, Changmin, a member of the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation's 'Green Noble Club' for high-value donors of over 100 million won, has been leading the spread of a culture of sharing through continuous donation activities with the foundation, including donating 45 million won for low-income children in the Pohang earthquake-affected areas in November 2017, supporting 55 million won to help children on Children's Day last May, and donating an additional 50 million won at the end of the year for children suffering from the cold.
