Ok Taec-yeon and Lee Yeon-hee have been confirmed to star in MBC's new Wed-Thurs drama, 'The Game: Towards Zero' (hereinafter referred to as 'The Game').
'The Game' depicts the story of a prophet named Tae-pyeong, who can see the moments right before death, and a detective from the Violent Crimes Unit, Joon-young, as they get entangled in a mysterious serial murder case and uncover hidden secrets. Ok Taec-yeon will play the role of Kim Tae-pyeong, marking his first comeback project after his discharge from the military in May. Tae-pyeong has the ability to see the moments right before a person's death when he looks into their eyes. He is a prophet who does not despair over his unique circumstances but considers them a special ability. Lee Yeon-hee will play Joon-young, who boasts unparalleled charisma at crime scenes but carries deep emotional scars from her father's death in childhood. Ok Taec-yeon stated, "Tae-pyeong's positive attitude, striving to find answers within his predetermined fate without despairing over his circumstances, was impressive. I want to convey the subtle emotional changes Tae-pyeong experiences to the viewers. As this is my first project after my discharge, I want to do my best to hear that I've grown compared to before." Lee Yeon-hee commented, "The script was intriguing, and it's a suspenseful work. I didn't want to miss out on such a captivating role. I think I'll be able to show a more mature side through this character. I will prepare diligently." Ok Taec-yeon and Lee Yeon-hee will be reuniting in a drama for the first time in six years since the 2013 film 'Marriage Blue.' "The Game" is scheduled to air in January of next year as the follow-up program to 'People with Flaws.'
