The next drama for INFINITE member L (real name Kim Myung-soo), 'Welcome', will have its first broadcast on KBS on March 2nd next year.

According to a TV Report exclusive on the 26th, the drama 'Welcome' has recently confirmed its broadcast slot on KBS2TV.

The first broadcast has also been set for March 2nd next year.

'Welcome' is a fantasy romantic comedy drama that deals with the subtle fluttering hearts between Hong Jo, a cat who transforms into a human man, and So Ra, a woman like a puppy.

It is based on a popular webtoon of the same name.

As such, fans are already anticipating the drama based on the news of its production.

Notably, L has confirmed his appearance as the male lead.

L has steadily built his acting skills through dramas such as 'Ruler: Master of the Mask', 'Miss Hammurabi', and 'Angel's Last Mission: Love'.

In 'Welcome', he is expected to show another side of his charm by playing the role of Hong Jo, a cat who transforms into a human man.

'Welcome' is a collaboration between director Ji Byung-hyun, who directed KBS2's 'Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang', 'Big', 'The Brothers' House', and 'Witch at Court', and writer Joo Hwa-mi, who wrote tvN's 'Marriage, Not Dating' and 'Introverted Boss'.
