
Celebrity soldiers have united for the musical "Return.".
The press conference for the Army's original musical "Return: That Day's Promise" was held on the 24th at the Blue Square Interpark Hall in Seoul. The press conference was attended by the director, lyricist, composer, and cast members including Lee Jung-yeol, Kim Sung-taek, SHINee's Onew (Lee Jin-ki), EXO's Xiumin (Kim Min-seok), VIXX's N (Cha Hak-yeon), Jo Kwon, INFINITE's Kim Sung-kyu, Go Eun-seong, Kim Min-seok, Lee Jung-yeol, and Yoon Ji-sung.
Several songs from the musical were previewed at the press conference.

The Army Headquarters stated regarding "Return," "We have been producing original musicals since 2008, and this is our fifth production. We believe we can present a good work because we have put in a lot of effort. We hope this musical deepens the love for our country."
They also revealed the production process, saying, "Although many celebrity soldiers are appearing, they were not recruited individually. All roles were assigned to individuals selected through auditions, and the soldiers participated in this meaningful production through the proper procedures."
They continued, "While it is important for celebrity soldiers to fulfill their duties in their respective units, we believe it is also meaningful for them to utilize their talents to convey an important message. Seeing them practice diligently from morning till late at night warms my heart."

The soldier actors will not be paid. The Army Headquarters stated, "Although no appearance fees will be paid, we will provide maximum support in terms of meals, snacks, and medical care so that the soldier actors can participate with a sense of duty and pride."
The musical "Return: That Day's Promise" will be performed from October 22nd to December 1st at the Woori Financial Art Hall in Olympic Park.
