BLACKPINK is scheduled to heat up the Tokyo Dome in Japan on the 4th.
According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK's Tokyo Dome concert has
already sold out all seats. Approximately 55,000 people are expected to fill the venue.
This is a testament to BLACKPINK's popularity in Japan.
Starting with this Tokyo Dome concert, BLACKPINK will hold a dome tour in four cities across Japan, including Osaka Kyocera Dome in January next year and
Fukuoka Yahoo! Dome in February, to meet with local fans.
Among these, the Tokyo Dome, where BLACKPINK will first step foot, is the heart of Japan and
a symbolic venue for large-scale popular music artists.
Last December, BLACKPINK successfully entered the Kyocera Dome (based on Japan) as the first overseas girl group,
igniting the nation, and similar to that,
the meaning and anticipation for this Tokyo Dome concert are already exceptional.
Expectations are being felt across the board. In the three Japanese cities where BLACKPINK will be touring,
pop-up stores will be opened. In Tokyo, Harajuku, it will operate from the 3rd to the 8th.
Both tour merchandise and original pop-up store products will be available,
expected to attract fans.
Along with their Japanese dome tour schedule, BLACKPINK plans to accelerate preparations for a new album,
traveling both domestically and internationally.
YG Entertainment officially announced that BLACKPINK is currently recording various new songs with the goal of releasing a new album in early 2020.
With their release of 'KILL THIS LOVE' in April, BLACKPINK set their own records on major charts such as America's Billboard, the UK's Official Singles, and YouTube,
solidifying their position as a world-class girl group.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK kept their promise to fans today (the 3rd) as they departed for Japan, drawing attention.
Jisoo and Lisa appeared at the airport wearing bunny and duck pajamas, respectively,
capturing all eyes.
BLACKPINK had previously announced during the '2019 PRIVATE STAGE [Chapter 1]' held in September
that Jisoo and Lisa would wear special airport fashion as a penalty for losing a game among the members.
