New tour series 'BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR'... First performance in Seoul

BTS will release their fourth full-length album and

begin a new stadium-scale world tour in April.

Agency Big Hit Entertainment announced on the 22nd that BTS will begin their world tour 'BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR' starting with a performance in Seoul.

The Seoul performances will be held on April 11-12 and 18-19 at the Olympic Main Stadium in Songpa-gu.

On this day, Big Hit released a poster announcing the tour and

the main poster for the Seoul performance on their official SNS, announcing the first tour dates.

According to this, BTS will perform 37 times in 17 cities including South Korea, the United States, Canada,

Japan, the UK, Germany, and Spain.

After the Seoul performances, they will head to the United States and visit Santa Clara, Los Angeles (LA),

Dallas, Orlando, Atlanta, New Jersey, and Washington D.C.

before taking the stage in Toronto, Canada.

Afterwards, they will go to Chicago in the United States, Fukuoka in Japan, and then to Europe

to continue their concerts in London, Berlin, and Barcelona.

After the European dates, they will return to Japan to stand before fans in Osaka, Saitama, and Tokyo.

The dates for June 13-14, which fall between the Chicago and Fukuoka concerts, have not yet been announced.

Big Hit stated, "We are currently only announcing dates for performances where the time and location have been confirmed,

and we plan to announce confirmed dates separately in the future."

From August 2018 to October last year, BTS performed 62 times in 23 cities worldwide with their 'LOVE YOURSELF' and

'LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF' tours,

mobilizing approximately 2.06 million spectators.

Notably, 'LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF' set a record as the first Korean artist to

hold concerts in stadiums with a capacity of over 50,000 seats.

The new tour series, 'BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR', will also

be held in stadiums and domes of comparable scale.

With the release of their 4th full-length album next month, BTS will once again

embark on a world tour, expected to create a stir in the global popular music scene.
