    According to an associate of Seungri on the 5th, he will enter the recruit training center of the Army's 6th Division in Cheorwon County, Gangwon Province on the 9th.

    Previously, the Military Manpower Administration notified Seungri, who was indicted on charges of overseas gambling worth 1 billion won and prostitution solicitation last month on the 4th, of his enlistment.

     

    The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office indicted Seungri on January 30th on charges including habitual gambling, violation of the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act, and violation of the Act on the Punishment of Arranging Prostitution, etc.

    Seungri faced the brink of arrest twice, in May last year and January this year, but the court dismissed the arrest warrants both times, allowing him to undergo investigation in a state of non-detention.

    The trial for Seungri is scheduled to be transferred to a military court in accordance with relevant laws.

    The Military Manpower Administration emphasized, "We will actively cooperate with the prosecution to ensure a fair trial and will ensure that the trial takes into account the progress of related cases, including the judgment results of the civilian court."
