Group BTS has opened a new chapter in history.

The online streaming event "BTS ONLINE CONCERT WEEKEND" (hereinafter referred to as BANG BANG CON), held on the 18th and 19th from 12 PM KST via the official YouTube channel "BANGTANTV", recorded 50.59 million views over two days and 23 hours, with a peak concurrent viewership of 2.24 million.

As the title "BANG BANG CON" suggests, ARMYs worldwide enjoyed BTS concerts from the comfort of their homes. BTS broadcasted existing concert and fan meeting footage as if it were a live concert.

Due to the global spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), BTS created a new performance culture of cheering and watching from home.

On the first day, the 18th, the event featured performances starting with '2015 BTS LIVE <花様年華 ON STAGE>' and '2016 BTS LIVE <花様年華 ON STAGE : EPILOGUE>', followed by the 'BTS 2014 LIVE TRILOGY : EPISODE II THE RED BULLET' concert and the 2016 fan meeting 'BTS 3RD MUSTER[ARMY.ZIP+]'.

On the 19th, '2017 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR IN SEOUL', '2017 TRILOGY EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR THE FINAL', 'LOVE YOURSELF SEOUL' concerts, and the 2018 fan meeting 'BTS 4TH MUSTER[HAPPY EVER AFTER]' were streamed, showcasing BTS's growth and development.

Big Hit Entertainment provided a new experience for fans by connecting them worldwide through the community platform Weverse with their lightsticks, "ARMY BOMBS." Weverse implemented a technology where the ARMY BOMB's color would change according to the video's audio signal when connected via Bluetooth during BANG BANG CON, making fans feel as if they were gathered in one place cheering for the performance.

BTS has created a special viewing culture alongside this new style of performance.

Beyond simply providing online streaming performances for fans, the event focused on ways for fans to cheer and enjoy more passionately, uniting ARMYs globally.

Over the two days, approximately 500,000 ARMY BOMBS were synchronized across 162 regions worldwide, and real-time comments cheering for BTS poured in on SNS and Weverse, as well as on YouTube's "BANGTANTV."

Fans, along with the ARMY BOMBS that changed colors in real-time, posted approximately 6.46 million times using the hashtags #방방콘 and #BANGBANGCON on Weverse and Twitter over the two days.
