    SHINee's Minho Forgoes Late Leave to Participate in National Defense Training, "To be with my comrades until the end"

    SHINee member Minho (Choi Minho, 28), who is nearing his discharge, has given up his late leave to participate in the "2020 National Defense Training."

     

    According to the 1st Marine Division and others on the 21st, Minho will forgo his late leave and participate in the "2020 National Defense Training."

     

    If things had gone as planned, Minho's late leave would have started on October 27th,

    and he would have been discharged from home without returning to his unit on November 15th.

    However, Minho will participate in the training held during his leave,

    forgoing his late leave starting on the 20th and will submit his discharge papers at his unit on November 15th.

     

    Minho decided to forgo his late leave and participate in the National Defense Training

    in order to pass on the training and individual tactics he has honed to his juniors.

    The National Defense Training is a defensive training conducted annually in the latter half of the year,

    focusing on maintaining military readiness and enhancing joint operational capabilities.

     

    Minho, who enlisted in the Marine Corps in April last year, has actively participated in various training sessions

    and has earned the trust of his seniors and junior soldiers with his characteristic sincerity and bright personality.

     

    A Marine Corps official said, "Sergeant Choi has always played a mentoring role for his juniors with his exemplary military life,

    and was trusted by the unit due to his characteristic bright personality."

     

    Minho stated, "It is natural for me to be with my comrades until the end as a member of the Marine Corps.

    I am happy to be able to participate in important training, share my know-how with my comrades, and finish strong."

     

    Known for his serious and sincere personality, Minho enlisted in the Marine Corps in April last year and served as a member of the Rapid Response Division.

    Minho, who gained attention as the host of the Defense TV drama "Comfort Train" last August, will be discharged on November 15th.
