Hyun Bin, Yoo Hae-jin, and Im Yoon-a will reunite in the movie "Confidential Assignment 2." 

JK Film announced on the 22nd that Hyun Bin, Yoo Hae-jin, Im Yoon-a, and other cast members from the previous film, along with Daniel Henney and Jin Sun-kyu, have confirmed their appearances in the sequel "Confidential Assignment 2: International" (directed by Lee Seok-hoon), and are preparing for full-scale filming. 

"Confidential Assignment 2: International" is the sequel to "Confidential Assignment," which was released in January 2017 and drew 7.81 million viewers.
It depicts an unpredictable global cooperative investigation by North Korean detective "Rim Cheol-ryeong" (Hyun Bin), who is dispatched to South Korea to pursue a cruel and meticulous criminal organization; South Korean detective "Kang Jin-tae" (Yoo Hae-jin), who volunteers to be his partner to return to the Guangsu team; and FBI agent "Jack" (Daniel Henney), who joins them. Each character has their own objectives as they unite.

Hyun Bin, who gained explosive popularity both domestically and internationally for his role as a North Korean officer in "Crash Landing on You," returns as elite North Korean detective "Rim Cheol-ryeong," dispatched to South Korea on a new mission.
Hyun Bin is expected to showcase powerful action surpassing the previous film, along with even more relaxed and humanistic charm.

Yoo Hae-jin, reprising his role as Kang Jin-tae from the previous film, was mistakenly transferred to the cyber investigation unit during his duties. He volunteers to be "Cheol-ryeong's" partner, facing the weighty mission of "investigating thoroughly this time." He is expected to drive the plot with his strong humor and performance. 

Im Yoon-a returns as Jin-tae's sister-in-law, "Park Min-young." 
Im Yoon-a, playing "Min-young," who claims to be a beauty YouTuber but is considered unemployed by her sister, is expected to show a more significant presence and energy than in the previous film with her naturalistic acting and vibrant charm. 

Daniel Henney newly joins as FBI agent "Jack," who is tracking a North Korean criminal organization involved in global crime.
He will cooperate with Hyun Bin and Yoo Hae-jin. 

Jin Sun-kyu plays "Jang Myung-joon," the leader of the North Korean criminal organization, heralding the birth of a powerful villain character that will inject tense suspense. 

The movie "Confidential Assignment 2: International" will begin full-scale filming in February.
