"Junho, who is scheduled to be discharged this month, recently decided to appear in 'The Red Sleeve'.

He is expected to play the central character as the male lead," they said.

"The Red Sleeve" depicts the story of Lady Yi Bin Seong, the birth mother of Crown Prince Munhyo, who rose to the highest rank of Jeong-1-pum Bin in Naemyeongbu after being a court lady.

It portrays the dramatic life reversal of an ordinary court lady becoming the mother of the nation's heir.

Junho will play Yi San, the next monarch, Jeongjo, who was born as the legitimate descendant of the royal lineage and ascended to the throne as Crown Prince.

He is a character who strives to become the ideal successor desired by his grandfather, King Yeongjo, but is also traumatized by the death of his father, Crown Prince Sado.

This drama is scheduled to be aired in September, following "The Veil" starring Namgoong Min and Park Ha-sun.
