The movie "Waiting for a Rain" (Director Jo Jin-mo) has released a trailer filled with the scent of youth.

"Waiting for a Rain" is an analog sensibility movie that depicts how Yong-ho (Kang Ha-neul) and So-hee (Chun Woo-hee), who found solace in each other's lives through a chance letter, made a low-probability promise to meet on "December 31st during the rain.".

In the released video, the youth of the two characters resonates with all of us through their worries and concerns about the future.

Kang Ha-neul and Chun Woo-hee, who have depicted self-portraits of youth in various works, play Yong-ho, a third-time repeater with no dreams or goals, and So-hee, who gave up on her dreams and runs a used bookstore with her mother, respectively, to portray youth.

Kang Ha-neul, who said, "I thought Yong-ho was me," projected his 20s, pondering, "What was I like back then? What did I do in times like these?" and made Yong-ho a more relatable character.

Chun Woo-hee, who revealed, "Unlike other characters I've played, I was attracted to the fact that I could show a more everyday side," plays So-hee, who lives resiliently even in her mundane daily life. 

The sight of Yong-ho and So-hee, who warm each other through chance letters and gradually grow, will surely bring a warm feeling to the audience this spring. 

"Waiting for a Rain" will be released on April 28th.
