Lee Hong-gi enlisted in the Army in Gangwon Province in the northeast in September 2019. Last year, he also appeared in the Army musical "Return," produced to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War.

Lee is the first member of FTISLAND to complete his military service. Bassist Lee Jae-jin enlisted in January last year, and drummer Choi Min-hwan enlisted in February of the same year.

Lee Hong-gi is scheduled to report his discharge to fans via a live broadcast on the video streaming service "V LIVE" by major portal site NAVER on the 19th of this month.
