The Hallyu event "KCON" has been held a total of 24 times in countries such as the United States, France, Australia, Mexico, and Japan since 2012, attracting a cumulative total of 1.1 million people. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, three online events titled "KCON:TACT" were held from last year to March of this year, featuring a total of 86 K-pop artist groups, and were watched by a total of 12.45 million Hallyu fans worldwide.
The upcoming "KCON:TACT 4U" next month, like "KCON:TACT 3" held in March, will adopt a world tour concept. It is planned to maximize the sense of presence by using the past KCON world tour cities as backgrounds.
In addition, content reflecting fan trends will be produced, and fan-centric events will be prepared.
The stage for "Music Room," which was well-received last time, will be expanded to showcase new stages by bands and collaborative artist performances. The interaction between artists and fans in the "Meet & Greet" corner, which became a highlight, will also continue.
"KCON:TACT 4U" will be exclusively streamed in South Korea via the streaming service "TVING." Overseas viewers can watch it on the KCON Official channel and Mnet K-POP channel on the video posting site "YouTube."
