An entertainment industry insider revealed on the 13th, "Ong Seong-wu will be the protagonist of Kakao TV's new drama 'Let's Grab a Coffee' (written by Kim Joon-hyun, directed by Noh Jung-wook)," to Sports Chosun.  

The drama depicts the process of Kang Go-bi, a rookie barista who jumped into the world of coffee with only passion, learning about coffee and people under the guidance of Park Seok, the master of "Two Great Coffees." Ong Seong-wu will play Kang Go-bi, who seeks out "Two Great Coffees" out of passion for coffee and becomes Park Seok's disciple thanks to his pure passion. It is expected that he will show himself learning about people as well as coffee through Kang Go-bi.

Ong Seong-wu was a member of Wanna One, formed through 'Produce 101 Season 2,' and was active both domestically and internationally. He made his acting debut in 'At Eighteen' and received positive reviews from viewers. Last year, he also played the lead role in 'More Than Friends,' solidifying his foundation as an actor. Public expectations for his next project are high.

"Let's Grab a Coffee," starring Ong Seong-wu, will begin filming in June and will be broadcast on Kakao TV in the second half of the year.
