On the 20th, JYP Entertainment released the video "2PM is BACK" on 2PM's official social media channels, announcing their activities in Japan.
The video features 2PM performing their representative song "I'll Be Back" at their Tokyo Dome concert in October 2016, which gathered about 100,000 fans, promising to return to their fans.
It also includes the phrase "2PM is BACK 2021.9.29 mini Album WITH MEAGAIN".
Prior to this, 2PM's 7th full-length album "MUST" (MUST), released on the 28th of last month, ranked first on the Japan iTunes album chart on the day of its release, reaffirming their popularity in Japan.
On the 3rd and 4th of this month, it topped the Tower Records daily sales chart, Japan's largest record store, and on the 5th, it ranked first on the overall album weekly chart for all stores.
2PM has now completed their hiatus due to military service and is active with all members for the first time in 5 years.
As of the 12th of this month, the new album "Must" has achieved cumulative sales of 121,220 copies (based on Gaon Chart shipments).
It also ranked in the TOP 10 of the iTunes album charts in 20 countries overseas, including Singapore and Sweden.
