CJ ENM told News N on July 20th, "The location for MAMA is undecided.

We plan to select a venue with the safety of artists and staff as the top priority."

Previously, Nikkan Sports reported that CJ ENM was discussing the possibility of holding "MAMA" in Hong Kong in December.

CJ ENM held "2020 MAMA" domestically in a non-face-to-face format last December.
