Actors Kim Nam-gil, Lee Da-hee, Sung Joon, and Cha Eun-woo, a member of the boy group ASTRO, will appear in the Korean drama "Island" (tentative title), scheduled to air in the first half of next year. The production side announced on the 28th.

The drama is based on a webtoon of the same name. Set on Jeju Island in the southern part of Korea, it depicts the sad yet strange journey of those destined to fight against evil that seeks to destroy the world.

Kim Nam-gil will play Ban, who was raised as a tragic being unable to mingle with humans. Lee Da-hee will play Won Mi-ho, the daughter of a conglomerate and a teacher. Cha Eun-woo will play Father John, a Catholic priest who performs exorcisms, and Sung Joon will play Guntan, who was raised to defeat evil alongside Ban.
