Their agency, YG Entertainment, announced the opening of the community on the same day, explaining that they plan to respond to fans' support and convey their gratitude more closely. They also mentioned that members YOON and MINO are very active in various fields, and HOONY and JINU's military service end dates are approaching, expressing anticipation for the members to resume activities together as a whole.
On Weverse, artists who have opened communities can communicate with their fans. It is operated by a subsidiary of HYBE, which produced the popular group BTS.
This is the fourth YG artist to open a community on Weverse, following TREASURE, iKON, and BLACKPINK.
In addition, tickets for MINO and YOON's first solo concerts will be sold from 2 PM on the same day on "Weverse Shop," an online store that handles works and official merchandise of artists participating in Weverse. MINO will hold his concert on the 19th of next month, and YOON on the 21st.
YG and HYBE formed a strategic partnership in January of this year and agreed to cooperate in a wide range of business areas, including platforms, distribution, and content.
