Group SF9 member Inseong has been confirmed to join the national tour of the Army original musical "Blue Helmet: The Song of Meisa."

"Blue Helmet: The Song of Meisa" is set in the fictional country of Camur during a civil war and Korea, where a K-pop audition is underway. It tells the story of "Rahman," a boy from Camur, who, inspired by the UN peacekeeper "Meisa" who gave him dreams and hope in his childhood, decides to pursue his dream of becoming a singer and later travels to Korea to find him. The musical explores how two countries with different cultures become one through the power of culture and art.

Inseong will play the role of Yoon Sung-ho, who loves art, dreams of world peace, and was dispatched to support the UN peacekeeping forces. He will share the stage with Park Chanyeol (EXO), Chae Chang-gyu, Kim Hyojin (ONF), and Lee Seunghyun (ONF).

Inseong, who debuted with SF9 in 2016, has received much love from fans for his intense performances in songs like "Fanfare," "O Sole Mio," "Enough," and "Good Guy." He has also established himself as a musical actor by participating in musicals such as "The Days," "Red Book," and "Jack the Ripper."

After concluding the Seoul performances, the musical "Blue Helmet: The Song of Meisa," which is currently on a national tour, is scheduled to begin its stage appearances in Jeonju.

In response, Inseong stated, "I am very grateful to be given such a great opportunity while serving my military duty. I will practice diligently so as not to be a burden to the production and create a performance without regrets. Please look forward to a new charm in Yoon Sung-ho."

Meanwhile, "Blue Helmet: The Song of Meisa" will begin its national tour with performances in Daejeon and Incheon, followed by shows at Busan's Sohyang Theater Shinhan Card Hall from July 2nd to 3rd, Suwon's Gyeonggi Arts Center Grand Theater from July 16th to 17th, Jeonju's Korea Sori Cultural Center Moak Hall from August 5th to 7th, Seongnam Arts Center Opera House from August 13th to 14th, Daegu's Keimyung Art Center from August 20th to 21st, and Goyang Aram Nuri Aram Theater from August 27th to 28th.
