"Figure Queen" Kim Yuna and Ko Woo-rim of crossover group Forestella will tie the knot in October.

Kim Yuna's management agency, All That Sports, announced on the 25th, "Kim Yuna will hold a splendid wedding ceremony with Ko Woo-rim in late October at a certain location in Seoul."

Ko Woo-rim's agency, Beat Interactive, also announced the marriage to Kim Yuna, stating, "The wedding ceremony will be held privately with close acquaintances and friends, so we ask for the understanding of many fans and media personnel regarding the fact that the specific wedding date and venue will not be disclosed."

According to both agencies, Kim Yuna and Ko Woo-rim first met in 2018 on the occasion of the celebratory performance at the All That Skate ice show. After that, their love bore fruit after 3 years of dating.

Kim Yuna was born in 1990 and is 33 years old this year. In South Korea, which was once a barren land for figure skating, she excelled as a national representative and truly emerged as the "Figure Queen." At the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, she won the gold medal in women's singles figure skating, and at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, she won the silver medal in women's singles figure skating before retiring. After that, she worked as a public relations ambassador for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics and contributed to the successful hosting of the event.

Born in 1995, Ko Woo-rim is 5 years younger than Kim Yuna. He is a vocalist who graduated from Seoul National University's Department of Vocal Music and is also a member of Forestella, which ultimately won JTBC's audition program "Phantom Singer Season 2" to select male quartet members. He plans to continue his active career even after marriage.
