On the 24th, their agency Starship Entertainment uploaded a coming soon image for IVE's third single "AfterLike" via social networking services (SNS).

The released image, designed with six color bars reminiscent of screen calibration, sparked curiosity. The album title "AfterLike" and the release date, August 22, also appeared, drawing attention.

IVE, who debuted last December with their first single "ELEVEN," recorded the highest first-week sales among rookie idols who debuted in 2021 and won 13 awards on music shows.

In April, with their second single "LOVEDIVE" and its title track of the same name, "LOVEDIVE," they were selected as one of the best K-pop songs and albums by Time magazine in the US, and have been ranked on the "Billboard Global 200 (highest rank 15th)", "Billboard Global Excl. U.S. (highest rank 10th)" charts and YouTube Music for 15 weeks.

Domestically, they were the first 4th generation girl group (groups debuted after 2017) to rank 1st on the Melon Chart for June and 1st on the Circle (formerly Gaon) Chart for digital & streaming in June. Furthermore, even after their activities ended on May 1st, they made a chart resurgence after 77 days without broadcast appearances, achieving 10 music show wins.
