[Newsen Reporter Hwang Hye-jin] The group NCT 127 is making a comeback.

Their agency, SM Entertainment, stated to Newsen on December 7th, "NCT 127 is preparing a repackage album with the goal of releasing it next January," officially confirming the news.

With this, NCT 127 will be showcasing new music for the first time in about four months. Previously, in September, NCT 127 released their 4th full-length album, "2 Baddies," and promoted the title track of the same name.

With that album, NCT 127 reached number 3 on the US Billboard main album chart, the "Billboard 200." They also surpassed 1 million copies in first-week physical album sales, adding the honorable title of "Million Seller" (a record of 1 million copies sold for a single album) to their achievements.

Ahead of their comeback, in October, NCT 127 held their second world tour's Seoul special concert, "NEOCITY: SEOUL - THE LINK+" at the Olympic Main Stadium in Jamsil Sports Complex, Songpa-gu, Seoul. They entered the largest concert venue in the country, the Main Stadium, and completed a concert that felt like a grand festival with approximately 120,000 fans both online and offline.

Following this, NCT 127 continued their second world tour at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, from December 3rd to 5th. They mobilized a total of 35,000 spectators over the three days of their Thailand concert.
