(Seoul = News1) Reporter Ko Seung-ah = The group THE BOYZ will return to the music scene in the new year.

According to News1's coverage on the 5th, THE BOYZ will make a comeback with a new album in February.

This will be THE BOYZ's first new release in 6 months since their 7th mini-album "BE AWARE," released in August of last year. It will be their first new song in 2 months since their special single "All About You" in December of the same year.

Notably, member Eric, who suspended his activities in March of last year due to health reasons and could not participate in the previous title track "WHISPER," will return and join them for this album. Their agency, IST Entertainment, announced through their official fan cafe last September that "after discussing with the artist himself (Eric), we have determined that there will be no issues with his return, and we plan to accelerate preparations for the next album and his return to activities."

Debuting in 2017 and establishing themselves as a leading group of the 4th generation, THE BOYZ showed their growth last year by holding concerts in major cities across the Americas, Europe, and Asia during their first world tour, "THE B-ZONE," and entering the Seoul Olympic Park KSPO Dome (formerly the Gymnastics Arena). Afterward, they topped domestic album charts and the United World Chart with their 7th mini-album. With "WHISPER," they reached the top of domestic music charts, ranked at the top of iTunes Top Album charts in 16 countries, and entered the Japanese Line Music chart. They also showed great success, including winning two music show awards.

Attention is now focused on what kind of music THE BOYZ, who have expanded their influence through such diverse activities, will showcase in this new album. They are currently working hard on the final stages of preparations for the release of their new album.
