[V-Daily Reporter Kim Ji-ha] K-pop's leading female singers will appear in large numbers at the '2023 K Global Heart Dream Awards', which is being held to pray for the success of the '2030 Busan World Expo'.

The '2023 K Global Heart Dream Awards' organizing committee announced its second lineup on the 3rd, which includes singer Younha, Red Velvet's Seulgi, and the group STAYC.

Younha is a singer in her 20th year, having debuted in Japan in 2004 before beginning her domestic activities in 2006. Armed with powerful yet emotional vocals, she has mastered various genres including rock, ballad, jazz, and R&B. Her song 'Event Horizon', released in March of last year, climbed back up the charts to sweep various music charts, and the song's popularity continues even now, more than a year later.

Having completed a solo concert in Seoul in March and her first fan meeting in Japan in April, Younha released the studio live album 'MINDSET' on the 10th of last month, marking the end of the 'MINDSET' series after about three years. The fan meeting held in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on the 17th and 18th of the same month sold out all seats within two minutes of ticket opening, confirming her popularity.

Seulgi, who debuted with Red Velvet in 2014, has received great love for songs such as 'Red Flavor', 'Dumb Dumb', 'Psycho', and 'Feel My Rhythm'. In July 2020, she formed a unit with fellow member Irene and showed a different side of herself with 'Monster'.

In October of last year, she released her first solo album in her 8th year since debut, gathering explosive interest from global fans. Her first solo album '28 Reasons' topped iTunes Top Album charts in 30 regions worldwide immediately after its release, including the US, Canada, Greece, Australia, Mexico, Russia, Singapore, and Vietnam.

STAYC, who debuted in 2020, is a representative 4th-generation girl group that has turned most of their promotional tracks into hits, from their debut song 'SO BAD' to 'ASAP', 'STEREOTYPE', 'RUN2U', and 'Teddy Bear'.

In particular, with 'Teddy Bear', they recorded outstanding results in the girl group market, selling 340,000 copies in the first week alone. The title track of the same name, 'Teddy Bear', reached number one on major domestic music charts and also became a hot topic for its Spotify streaming numbers and dance challenges.

The '2023 K Global Heart Dream Awards', which has heightened the atmosphere with the news of the total mobilization of K-pop's representative female artists, will be held on the afternoon of August 10th at the KSPO DOME (formerly Olympic Gymnastics Arena) located in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
