Actor Park Bo-gum is embarking on his first musical challenge.

Park Bo-gum has decided to appear in the musical "Let Me Fly," scheduled to open in September, and is currently finalizing the details.

The original musical "Let Me Fly," which premiered last March after a two-year development process, depicts a chaotic future exploration that begins when the ordinary protagonist Nam-won, living in 1969, wakes up in 2020 just as he is about to get one step closer to his dreams and his love for Jeong-bun.

At the time of its premiere, it received critical acclaim from audiences and critics alike. It was nominated in six categories at the 7th Korea Musical Awards and was recognized for its quality by winning three awards: Best Musical (under 400 seats), Best Composition, and Best New Actor (Lee Hyung-hoon).

Park Bo-gum's "love" for musicals is well-known. A graduate of the Department of Film and Musical at Myongji University, Park Bo-gum was active as a musical director during his time as a student, demonstrating exceptional passion. He also participated as a music director for his graduation project, the musical "Hairspray." That production sold out and received an explosive response.

"Let Me Fly" will be performed for a total of 100 shows from September 26 to December 10 at the Yes24 Stage Hall 1 in Daehak-ro, Seoul. Afterward, it will meet audiences in cities such as Busan and Anyang.
