An entertainment industry insider told JTBC Entertainment News on the 25th, "Lee Se-young and Kentaro Sakaguchi are scheduled to work together in the drama 'Things That Come After Love'."

"Things That Come After Love" is based on the joint novel published in 2005 by Korean author Gong Ji-young and Japanese author Hitonari Tsuji. It vividly depicts a cross-border love story between a Korean woman and a Japanese man. The original work was a bestseller and received much love. Expectations are high for the synergy that Lee Se-young and Kentaro Sakaguchi will create in this lyrical melodrama.

Prior to this, Kentaro Sakaguchi announced that he would hold his first fan meeting in Korea in September. Following his visits to Korea for the 2018 film "Tonight, at the Movies" and last month for "The Last 10 Years," the news of his fan meeting and drama appearance signals an even closer connection with Korea.

"Things That Come After Love" is produced by Silver Lining Studio and marks the drama directorial debut of Moon Hyun-sung, who directed films such as "Seoul Vibe" and "The King's Case Note." Filming is scheduled to take place in both Korea and Japan starting early next year.
