The 2023 APAN STAR AWARDS, hosted by the Korea Entertainment Management Association, will be held at Dongdaemun DDP on December 30th.

The APAN STAR AWARDS is a popular culture and arts awards ceremony that marks its 9th anniversary this year, having started with its first edition in 2012. As an integrated drama awards ceremony covering all channels including domestic terrestrial, general programming channels, cable, OTT, and web dramas, it is expected to help reawaken and revitalize communication with K-drama fans around the world.

The 2023 APAN STAR AWARDS will cover all South Korean drama content aired from October of last year to November 2023. As it has been a year overflowing with works recognized globally for their quality, the best artists who have exerted a powerful influence on popular culture as a whole will gather in one place, and fierce competition is expected for awards in all categories.

In addition, a jury composed of expert groups representing each sector, including directors, writers, reporters, and popular culture critics, will carefully select the award recipients.

Past Grand Prize winners of the APAN STAR AWARDS include Son Hyun-joo (1st), Song Hye-kyo (2nd), Jo In-sung (3rd), Kim Soo-hyun (4th), Song Joong-ki (5th), Lee Byung-hun (6th), and Hyun Bin (7th). The honor of the Grand Prize at the 8th APAN STAR AWARDS held in 2022 went to Song Joong-ki, who received the Grand Prize for the second time, continuing the tradition of famous actors receiving the glory of the award.

The APAN STAR AWARDS is co-hosted by the Korea Entertainment Management Association and the Seoul Business Agency, co-managed by Wion Company Co., Ltd., and supported by the Korea Influencer Association. It is the first awards ceremony officially recognized by related organizations (Korea Entertainment Producers Association, Recording Industry Association of Korea, Federation of Korea Popular Culture and Art Industry, Korea Management Federation, etc.).
