The musical "Winter Wanderer" will return this December to mark the 10th anniversary of the passing of the late author Choi In-ho.
The musical "Winter Wanderer" is based on the novel by the late Choi In-ho, a great master of modern Korean literature who defined an era as an icon of youth culture. The original "Winter Wanderer" is a work that portrays the portrait of eternal youth through a sophisticated writing style and psychological depiction. Serialization began in 1984, and it was adapted into a film starring Ahn Sung-ki and Lee Mi-sook in 1986, and a drama starring Son Chang-min and Kim Hee-ae in 1989. Subsequently, "Winter Wanderer" was adapted into a musical in 1997 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Seoul Arts Center, winning honors at the Korea Musical Awards, including the Grand Prize, Best New Actor, Best Art Direction, and a Special Award.
A star-studded production team has gathered for the new season of "Winter Wanderer."
