Ju Ji-hoon is considering the lead role in the new tvN drama "Love on a Single-Log Bridge" (written by Im Ye-jin, directed by Park Joon-hwa / produced by Studio Dragon and Blitzway Studios).

"Love on a Single-Log Bridge" is a reunion romance about a man and a woman who were passionately in love during their school days but had to endure a painful breakup due to their families' feud and the twists of fate, only to meet again 15 years later. Expectations are high as the project brings together writer Im Ye-jin, who penned "Love in the Moonlight" and "The Tale of Nokdu," and director Park Joon-hwa, who helmed "Because This Is My First Life," "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim," and the "Alchemy of Souls" series.

Ju Ji-hoon has been offered the role of Seok Ji-won, an executive director at Seokdong Construction. In the summer of his 18th year, he fell in love with his classmate Yoon Ji-won, but they parted ways due to a terrible misunderstanding. Years later, he returns as the chairman of Dokmok High School and reunites with Ji-won.

Notably, during his appearance on YTN's "The News" last year, Ju Ji-hoon expressed his desire to act in a romance, mentioning that he had not done a romance project since his debut work, the 2006 MBC drama "Princess Hours." Consequently, there is significant anticipation surrounding his potential return to the romance genre after 18 years.
