A Japanese drama starring actor Chae Jong-hyeop is gaining significant popularity. 

As of the 25th, the drama "Eye Love You," starring Chae Jong-hyeop and actress Fumi Nikaido, ranked #1 on the Netflix Japan Top 10 list. 

"Eye Love You" is a drama that depicts the story of the protagonist Yuri Motomiya (played by Fumi Nikaido), who has the ability to hear people's inner thoughts (telepathy), as she falls in love with a Korean man named Yoon Tae-oh (played by Chae Jong-hyeop). Yoon Tae-oh meets Yuri Motomiya while attending a Japanese university and working a part-time job as a delivery driver. 

The fact that "Eye Love You" is a new Tuesday drama on Japan's terrestrial network TBS is also a notable point. Chae Jong-hyeop is the first Korean actor in history to play a male lead in a prime-time serial drama on a major Japanese commercial network.  

Previously, actors such as Kim Jae-joong (formerly of JYJ), Ryu Si-won, and Park Yong-ha have appeared in Japanese dramas. However, Chae Jong-hyeop is the first to lead a prime-time serial drama on a major Japanese commercial network. Attention is now focused on whether "Eye Love You" can maintain its current popularity until the end of its run, and whether Chae Jong-hyeop can successfully leap forward in the Japanese drama market. 

Meanwhile, Chae Jong-hyeop has gained popularity by appearing in dramas such as "Stove League" and "Castaway Diva," and has been named a rising star.
