
Actress Han Hyo-joo will be starring in a romantic comedy alongside top Japanese actor Shun Oguri.
According to the film industry on the 13th, Han Hyo-joo has confirmed her appearance in the Japanese Netflix series "Romantic Anonymous" and began filming in Japan with Shun Oguri early this month.
"Romantic Anonymous" is a series based on the French film "Romantics Anonymous" directed by Jean-Pierre Améris. It is a romantic comedy that depicts the events that unfold when a chocolatier, who is so timid that they find daily life difficult but possesses genius skills, gets a job at a small chocolate shop. The series will be directed by Sho Tsukikawa, who directed the widely beloved Japanese film "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas."
In "Romantic Anonymous," Han Hyo-joo plays a character who suffers from social phobia but possesses genius talent in chocolate making. Shun Oguri plays the owner of the shop where Han Hyo-joo gets hired, and he also has a personality that becomes overly nervous about small things. The highlight of this work is how the two characters grow closer as they recognize their commonalities.
