The movie "Wonderland" (directed by Kim Tae-yong), which boasts a spectacular cast lineup, will be released in June.
On the 22nd, the distributor of "Wonderland," Acemaker Movieworks, announced, "'Wonderland' is preparing for a June release."
"Wonderland" is a film based on a virtual world that allows people to see those they miss. It is the first commercial feature film presented by director Kim Tae-yong in a long time since the 2011 movie "Late Autumn."
The cast is already star-studded. Actors Park Bo-gum, Suzy, Gong Yoo, Jung Yu-mi, and Choi Woo-shik star in the film, and director Kim Tae-yong's wife, Tang Wei, also plays a leading role.
The "Wonderland" team, having finished filming a while ago, has consistently shown their close friendship, raising expectations for the release. At last year's Baeksang Arts Awards, Park Bo-gum, Suzy, and Tang Wei reunited and took photos, which became a hot topic, and at last year's Blue Dragon Film Awards, Park Bo-gum and Tang Wei presented an award and even mentioned the story of "Wonderland."
