Kim Soo-hyun is meeting viewers through the character of Baek Hyun-woo in the tvN Saturday-Sunday drama "Queen of Tears." "Queen of Tears" tells the story of Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won), a third-generation chaebol of the Queens Group and the queen of department stores, and Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun), the son of the head of Yongduri and the prince of supermarkets, who have been married for three years and overcome dizzying crises to miraculously fall in love all over again.

For Kim Soo-hyun, this is his comeback in three years since the 2021 Coupang Play series "One Ordinary Day," and it marks his third collaboration with writer Park Ji-eun, following "My Love from the Star" and "The Producers." 

In particular, when he played Do Min-joon in the 2013 SBS drama "My Love from the Star," he sparked a "Do Manager syndrome" and received explosive love. He gained immense popularity not only domestically but also across Asia, including China, and was reborn as a representative Hallyu star. Since then, he has performed brilliantly in every project he has taken on, with perfect acting and visuals.

Because of this, the number of viewers watching not only the main broadcast but also the making-of and behind-the-scenes videos is increasing.
