JYP Entertainment's new boy group "NEXZ" has confirmed their debut date.

According to JYP on the 1st, NEXZ will release their debut single "Ride the Vibe" on the 20th.

NEXZ is a seven-member group consisting of Yu, Tomoya, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hyui, and Yuki. It is the first boy group JYP is introducing in about 6 years since their flagship K-pop boy group "Stray Kids".

Last year, JYP selected the members of NEXZ through "Nizi Project" Season 2, an audition program produced in collaboration with Sony Music, Japan's largest record company.

The group name is an abbreviation of "Next Z(G)eneration." JYP's representative producer and "Nizi Project" judge Park Jin-young named them with the meaning that "members who will lead the next generation have gathered to showcase music and performances, opening a new era."
