NewJeans will hold a fan meeting at Tokyo Dome in June (Provided by ADOR)

NewJeans will perform at Tokyo Dome just one year and 11 months after their debut, the fastest for any non-Japanese artist. It is highly unusual for a K-pop group that has not yet officially debuted in Japan to sell out tickets for a Tokyo Dome performance.

When they appeared at the major Japanese music festival "Summer Sonic" last August, they drew so much attention that they triggered the fastest audience entry restriction in the festival's history. Additionally, they appeared in a special segment on the Kohaku Uta Gassen (though pre-recorded) and performed three songs at the Japan Record Awards, receiving exceptional treatment for a group that had not yet debuted in Japan.

NewJeans will release their Japanese debut single "Supernatural" on June 22 (Korean release date: June 21).

At the fan meeting, they plan to perform 24 songs, including four new tracks. Popular Japanese music unit YOASOBI will appear as a guest on the first day, and UK-based singer-songwriter Rina Sawayama will appear as a guest on the second day.
