Actor Cha Eun-woo is positively considering an appearance in the new drama "The Wonderfools" (working title). 

On the 26th, his agency Fantagio stated, "The drama 'The Wonderfools' (working title) is a project that Cha Eun-woo has received an offer for and is positively considering." 

"The Wonderfools" was initially known as "The B Team" and tells the story of "flawed superpowered individuals" who manifest superpowers against their will. While various discussions, such as adapting an original work, were held during the initial planning stage, "The Wonderfools" will ultimately be planned and produced as a new original story.

In the drama, Cha Eun-woo will play the role of Lee Woon-jung, a mysterious civil servant with many secrets and no social skills. He is a lonely figure who finds it difficult to let anyone get close to him, but he comes to realize the meaning of "us" after meeting Eun Chae-ni. Park Eun-bin has been cast in the role of Eun Chae-ni.

"The Wonderfools," produced by Romantic Crew, Kakao Entertainment, and Fantagio, is scheduled to finalize casting and begin filming in the second half of this year. The release platform has not yet been decided.

Cha Eun-woo appeared in the MBC drama "Wonderful World," which concluded in April. Since then, he has met with fans worldwide through his fan concert "2024 Just One 10 Minute [Mystery Elevator]" and garnered attention for his appearance at "Waterbomb Seoul 2024," held at the KINTEX outdoor global stage in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, on the 5th.
