Actor Jung Hae-in is positively discussing a Japanese drama as his next project, rather than a Korean one. 

It has been confirmed that following the completion of the movie "Veteran 2" and the drama "Love Next Door," Jung Hae-in has been offered the role of the male lead in a Japanese drama and is currently reviewing it positively.

Previously, Jung Hae-in worked with Japanese genre film master director Takashi Miike on the 2022 Disney+ original series "Connect." At the time, the series was officially invited to the "On Screen" section of the 27th Busan International Film Festival, garnering global attention. However, "Connect" was a Korea-Japan co-production concept, with Studio Dragon handling the planning and production. 

While Jung Hae-in has met with Japanese fans at fan meetings, he has never appeared in a Japanese production. The "Japanese drama" currently offered to Jung Hae-in is said to be a project created through the collaboration of a local production company, writer, and director.
