'D Awards with UPICK - Bringing dreams (Dream) and joy (Delights) to the world through our music!

Sports Dong-A, Korea's premier sports and entertainment daily newspaper, will host the K-POP awards ceremony "D Awards" on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Anam-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.

The D Awards, which support those who have made K-POP shine on the global stage, were established to further promote the background of K-POP's global popularity, which is rooted in its commitment to providing "Dreams" and "Delights" to people all over the world.

The awards ceremony will be held in two categories: "D Awards Delights" and "D Awards Dreamers." We hope for the "D Awards Delights," the main award given to K-POP artists who have been highly active over the past year, and we will present the "D Awards Dreamers" to outstanding newcomers who will lead K-content in the future.

The "YEARS" titles, which celebrate those who made K-POP shine throughout 2024, will be awarded in categories such as Artist of the Year, Album, Song, Performance, Rookie, and Global List. In addition, the D Awards will select and honor the D Awards "ICONIC," which signifies members who have meaningfully illuminated the past, present, and future of K-POP.

The 1st D Awards ceremony, taking its first steps in the "home" of K-POP, South Korea, will be title-sponsored by the global fandom platform "UPICK." One of the main award categories, the D Awards "Fanpick," which is decided 100% by fan participation, will be held on UPICK. Details and schedules regarding official voting will be announced at a later date.
