The organizing committee for the "1st D AWARDS" announced on the 13th the second lineup of performers for the awards ceremony, including N.Flying, P1Harmony, tripleS, ZEROBASEONE, and 82MAJOR.
N.Flying, the iconic band you can trust and listen to, will take the stage at the "D.Awards." As the protagonists of the chart-climbing myth represented by "Rooftop," N.Flying garnered attention last year by demonstrating their immense power once again with "Blue Moon." Furthermore, the syndrome-level popularity of "Lovely Runner," in which leader Lee Seung-hyub appeared, and the mega-hit status of the drama's soundtrack song "Star" have re-illuminated the "true value of N.Flying." Four members, excluding Kim Jae-hyun who is currently serving in the military, will perform on the "D.Awards" stage.
P1Harmony has shown off their sharp potential in the global music market. They released their first full-length album "Killin' It" and their 7th mini-album "SADSONG," reaching their highest ranking to date at 16th on the main US Billboard chart, the "Billboard 200." They were also selected as the Favorite Team Dynamic in the "The 2024 K-pop Yearbook" by the music media outlet Consequence.
Last year, tripleS showcased both full-group activities and various dimensions, proving their moniker as the "Idol of All Possibilities." With their first full-length album "ASSEMBLE24," released last May, they were the only K-pop girl group to be selected for NME's "The 50 Best Albums of 2024." Additionally, the title track of "ASSEMBLE24," "Girls Never Die," became a mega-hit and established itself as a signature song for tripleS.
ZEROBASEONE, standing at the forefront of 5th-generation idols, showed all-around activity last year, releasing two mini-albums in Korea and a single in Japan. Notably, their 4th mini-album sold over 1 million copies in just one day of release. Through this, ZEROBASEONE achieved the major record of becoming a "million-seller on the day of release" for four consecutive albums since their debut, a first for a K-pop group. Last year, ZEROBASEONE also embarked on their first world tour, "Timeless World," meeting 140,000 fans around the globe.
Last year's top "hot rookie," 82MAJOR, will also attend their first awards ceremony since debut. Debuting in October 2023, 82MAJOR ranked 45th on the Billboard Album Sales chart and 37th on the Current Album Sales chart last November, and achieved the feat of reaching 6th place on the US DRT "Global Top 150 Independent Airplay Chart" last December. They are gaining global popularity based on their stunning visuals and flawless live performance skills, which culminated in the craze surrounding their song "Stuck."
Following the announcement of the first lineup on the 6th, which included ENHYPEN, FIFTY FIFTY, QWER, TWS, and UNIS, the "1st D AWARDS" organizing committee has added a second lineup of five of the most noteworthy K-pop artists, completing a solid roster of performers.
"The 1st D Awards with upick," hosted by Sports Dong-A and managed by "upick" and WSM, will be held on February 22nd at 6:00 PM at the Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Anam-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
